at a guess , he could have his index page loaded with the keywords which quickly forwards to ur site ,
old trick , just a guess though
my website is outstandingpoker.com. For some reason I can't get my listing on the first few pages of google but my affiliate is?
I have an issue with an affiliate of mine getting his website (which then redirects to mine)
on the first result on google when you type in outstanding poker and other keywords I use.
My listing is no where to be found however I have been posting links etc and doing a lot of SEO for it.
I am not sure why his listing comes up as it forwards to mine.
His URL forwards to his affiliate ID www.outstandingpoker.com/?hop=zimzalabim
but his listing on google comes up as www.outstandingpoker.co.uk
He is getting affiliate comissions because of this.
Any reason why I can't get top listing on google?
In Yahoo when i type in outstanding poker i get my listing coming up.
In MSN my listing comes up.

he must have a page but it redirects to your page so quick u cant see it.
i came across a similar site ast month and couldnt figure out how they had ranked , but what they done was have www,poker333.co.uk(for example) page stuffed with keywords and nothing else with a redirect to www,poker333.co.uk/frontpage so that the frontpage ranks really well.
so u cant see the keyword stuffed page that redirects , but i found somewhere about this and there was a bit of software or a web application that allowed u to see the redirection page with all the keywords.
Its possible that he's using a 302 hijack.
EDIT:- A quick look suggests to me its a 302 hijack but its probably not intentional just caused by the affiliate links using 302 redirect.
How long has it been happening? Its not likely to last too long.
Was your site ranking no.1 for this search term previously?
NO my site was never number one for this keyword. Which shocks me cause I have backlinks all over the place.

Interestingly too is that your url is cached and in the index and also when I search for your domain 'outstandingpoker' in america using google.com its not listed and nor is the .co.uk redirect.
Maybe you could try sending google a mail about it with the 'Dissatisfied? Help us improve' link at the bottom of the serps.
It might also be worth taking a look at google webmaster tools and see if you can see any problems with your site in there.
Good luck

Yup, that's a hijack

Hmmm, sadly, "lots of links" does not equate to "good SEO". The links I could find were of generally dreadful quality, and I suspect you've actually got a penalty on your main site, hence your affiliate has hijacked your listing
Hi,
Very good Discussion here.
You see the Google Penalty....
How long that Last for?

Nice to read this forum

Until the problems are fixed, and maybe a bit longer
Probably a silly question, but how do you know what the penalty has been enforced for, as in what crime?![]()

Can't be certain from here, but the link data I saw made me wince. I suspect it's been spanked for "bad link profile". Between the visible data, and the 'jack, it's the most likely explanation
Im a bit confused here, I have spent ages over the last 3 months building backlinks to my site, does this mean that Google could suspend my site? (Kick me off Google search) for having so many backlinks?
