How is Music niche?

Hi Everyone,

I'm Jack and right now I'm working on one of the music sites.

Does anyone have worked on any music site? How is this niche to get rank for a particular site?

any suggestion?

I have a music related site, however don't expect to be a millionaire overnight as sales are pretty poor for downloads and cd's.

have two Djing sites, both ranking for some nice niche hardware terms, get the occasional sale, but get mostly adwords clicks

It depends what type of music site you are working on. Music itself is too big a niche itself, you should focus on a genre, or break it down further.

I own a medium-large music forum, focussed on the making music side of things; producers, djs, artists, and writers, and am ranking for a few good terms
