Global Translator Plugin - Good or Bad?

Today, I came across this WordPress plugin, which on the surface seems like a good idea.

This is a translator plugin that for each article in your site, it creates a different URL in each language;

example.com/en/my-article
example.com/it/my-article
and so on.

So you are providing a service to your international user by giving them an instant translation for your articles and also giving the search engines plenty more pages to index.

On the surface this seems a good idea, but is this actually the case?

I would really appreciate any thoughts on this.

Wordpress Global Translator Plugin will not work properly. All translated pages becomes a 404 Error.
