How many keywords search Terms on the home page?

How many keywords would you suggest having on the home page please? Is there a percentage you should keep to? Clearly you shouldn't flood the page with blatant keywords, but is there a figure for guidance?

Your home page is the page you can target high number of keywords as your home page contains information about all of your main products. And on an individaual page, we should target 3-4 keywords only

when you say 3 to 4 keywords, how many times should you show your main keyword? Also, should there be in title description and keyword tags, h1, h2, h3 tags etc
