I logged on to webmaster tools today and noticed google has generated 8 site links for my site, what if any are the benefits of having them?

they should appear under your listing in google search such as this one on my name keith bond - Google Search therefore extra links for users to find your site

It's supposed to improve the value of the listing by exposing more URLs to searchers, ie 9 pages available, not 2. To be honest, I'm not sure it makes much of a difference, but it's a handy notation of when you dominate a result, since you need a fairly big lead to get them
