Those tags are fine
Meta keyword tags hold no relevance what so ever in Google so dont spend to much time on them
I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on keyword repetition in the Meta titlte tag and keyword tag etc.
If for example you were to use something like this for example
Title tag, Orange mobile phone deals with free gift deals and cash back deals
Keyword tag, Orange mobile phone, mobile phone deals, free gift deals, cash back deals, free mobile phone,Orange mobile phone deals.
Would it be better to only use the word deals once in each tag?

I always thought your main keyword should make up no more than 5% of the page text - there was a handy tool somewhere which compares your page against the top 5 results for your chosen keyword - you can then tune yours to fit the and with a little luck better the competition - that said I think inbound links with the right anchor text goes a long long way.
Here's the link:

I would suggest putting a semantically related word in there instead of repeating "deals" the 3rd or 2nd time.
Prices, discount, offer or bargains.

A good idea, but not conclusive evidence. I can state with some conviction that G do *not* index keywords tags any more. Y and MSN do, and nothing prevents G from switching back to using it at a later date, so it's not an utter waste of time. I'd not expend much effort on it though.
In Meta keyword tag and meta description tag you should use the description or keyword which is present in the body of that particular web page. If a particular keyword is present in the meta keyword tag but its not present in the page body then the Search engine may penalize your website. Make sure you use only those keywords or description which is present in the page body.

I always find that if you keep it 'natural', you won't go far wrong. If it looks 'unnatural' you you, it probably will to a search engine too.

Yes keywords are supposed to make up no more than 2-5% of the overall word count of a page, at least thats what i work on.
Ive been frequently visiting the seomoz blog recently and some of the supposed people in the know there are saying search engines prefer natuarly written content without the need of keyword rich text.
I dont know if thats the case, but i think its better to stick with what you know works.
Hi there
well, these days meta keywords are considered as not really necessary anymore...more important is to put KW into the meta description and tags. If you wanna push one particular KW, you should add it many times in various combinations.

Jazz
Although recently Frank (one of the other memebers and an SEO professional) highlighted a website of his own that used the keyword meta to achieve a very good result.
Keyword metas are pretty pointless for Google (however they are good for telling your competitors what terms your targetting) however personally (based on the recent revelation) i wouldn't discount them completely as you could still get some good traffic and a good ranking through the likes of Yahoo.
