Why do some pages never show up in Google.

I've been an Affiliate Marketer for 2 years now. I make a bit of pocket money from my site:

Not all of my pages are listed on Google. This one, has given me frequent headaches:

Baby monitors

I just can't get it listed on Google, or at least, it's not in the top 500 listings. I've optimized the text, created a Sitemap file using the excellent GSiteCrawler. Do I need to get inbound links directly to this page?

However, I've done well with some other pages. Why is this one defeating me?

Any ideas?

That page is showing a PR2 so can't be that much of a problem?

The reason is likely due to the fact that the search phrase 'baby monitors' is just highly competitive - you just need to build more quality backlinks - try directing some external links to that specific page. Not all SEO is about building links to you root domain, building links to internal pages can be just as powerful.
