OK, I have a 3 page site which I can't understand why it isn't really on the first page of google, it's a few years old and now and again it appears on the first page, might last a day then disappears.

I have the keywords in the title, page, etc and the domain is the keywords too

It is a niche and has 410,000 results when searched for so I'd expect/like it to be first page if not top, in yahoo it ranks top, but I don't find yahoo hard to rank in.

I don't really fancy posting the site in here so if anyone fancies taking a look to see if they can help me understand why it doesn't rank so well then I'd really appreciate it by PM

you're probably noticing a datacentre flip (i usually experience mine mid day friday through mid day monday) where the SERPS are all over the place.

its usually down to content indexing and algo updates
