    I don't see how it could be a bad thing.

    More, uh, "top of mind" for the, uh, company in question.

    That translates to more Google (and other engine) searches for the brand, more confidence in the brand which generally leads to better click to sign up conversion rates.

    Is there some doubt you have about why it might not be a good thing for affiliates?
