New independent gadgets program - 10%

paramountzone.com offer 8% of a sale to affiliates. This is very high considering most people that visit the site buy something. Banners are very eye catching too.

You can link directly to the category where the product is found, i.e. the exact page where the product image is.

You can see the sales generated in real time by a login and password

Product details can be give to you at your request....

This was my best program & yourcheque & while I will no doubt never see any of that money there was a pretty reasonable conversion rate.

The low/no mininum payment (often the worry with independent schemes) & 9999 cookie not mentioned above make this worth looking at IMHO

The rate is 8% as I understand it but pays on cost including shipping which for lower value items may give you an effective rate of 10%

Looks like a competitor to IWantOneOfThose.com (UKAffiliates). Both of them sell similar products and have very similar affiiate progs.

Which one would you recommend?

I think paramount stands up well on price compared to the others (not sure if this is a good thing for us though!) but haven't promoted it as much as some of the others so its hard to say exactly how well it converts.

  Question for Paramountzone

We were also part of the Yourcheque network and I was wondering why Paramount zone left them?

I know the affiliates on this forum have had nothing good to say about yourcheque and I think many of the merchants also felt the same. One of the main points I disliked about them as a merchant was the fact that they had such screwy T+C's for the affiliates.

We also chose to go independent as we would rather give more money to the affiliates than to a network.

Formerly part of the YourCheque network (win a prize if you can guess why we left them!), Otherlandtoys has gone the indie route, offering our affiliates a much improved program that I hope many of you will find of interest.

  Paramount Zone

We have had 2 users complains this week about PZ and their non-delivery of products ordered and non response to emails.

Its a nice site with a decent rate of commission on their affiliate program. I hope that we are not promoting them for nothing!

  Re: Paramount Zone

Can someone clarify this situation for me please, Paramount Zone is still listed as one of my merchants with Your Cheque as I write this.
Are Your Cheque not telling their affiliates everything.
