Amazon.co.uk -- 15% HOW ?!?

How the heck are you supposed to earn 15% commission from Amazon ?

I clicked through a link from my site to a book, and bought it and was only credited with a 5% sale. WTF ?

I don't think I clicked elsewhere on Amazon before purchasing.

Anyone else had this ?

Surely Amazon can track what you clicked-thru to.. are they simply being economical (sic) with the truth ?

The only time that I have ever got 15% is when I've bought something myself.

None of my visitors ever generate more than the basic 5%.

I have however managed to by multiple books and get 15% on one and 5% on the rest.

It's nigh impossible to earn 15%. You'll generally earn 4% on purchases (5% - VAT), that is if the customer buys a product that does qualify you for some commission. Otherwise you get 0%. That's why we only promote Amazon if a particular product is not available elsewhere.
