The best paying affiliation in the UK.....

Is not with any of the standard "affiliate networks" - but rather an independent British PLC with £28m in turnover in the last 12 months. They've just entered inthe to affiliate arena, and I beleive will wipe the floor - they are offering

up to 75% commission on profits AND 5 tiers of payment.

Well worth going with on a 2 year view.

See www.freetelco.co.uk/ for full details.

I receive email after email from affiliates of this Telecom Plus program, obviously trying to increases their tier affiliates.

Most of the products on 'StorePlus' are supplied by companies that already operate their own affiliate programs, such as Home Electrical Direct.

I personally cannot see the benefits. The commission structure stinks, and I am always wary of commissions that work on a percentage of gross margins!

Some products may well be cheaper than High Street names, but users will normally opt for a high street name rather than a total unknown.

I would also suggest to Paul H. to stop spamming this forum and email inboxes.

Well, after 6 months work, the results......

The Store plus commissions are indeed pathetic - however, if your treat it properly ie. due to the fact your get paid on 5 tiers, not just two, I still believe it is possible to build a very big and very profitable team.

I know people are enormously sceptical of anything more than two tiers as it suddenly seems to take on a "pyramid" structure - but show me one company that doesn't have a CEO, board of directors, managers, middle managers, workforce etc (looks like a pyramid to me where only the top 0.1% earn the mega bucks).

If I sell a dishwasher (for example) from Store plus, my commission is around £1. No where near as good as Empire Direct commission (say), but when you take into account that if each person in your team (eventually) finds 10 other people (I've fond over 100, so why should anyone else !) then you would be earning from over 100,000 peoples sales.

People can stand and say "it doesn't work" - and if you are looking purely from individual commission then no, it won't, but if you consider it in the way it is meant to be seen, then you have an enormous long term potential.

Sorry, but I thought I just had to reply. By the way, I don't mind if the link is removed from my first post - I acknowledge now it was rather cheeky of me, but hey, we all make mistakes at times.

Big apology if it offended anyone.

Telecom Plus are a joke.

Their phone calls are higher than my cable company.

And the commission for their online store is a joke. They are smart because it is VERY difficult to find the commission ratios etc. for referrers to their StorePlus mall. I had to write about three emails to get an answer. They did everything possible to give me solid figures... but then eventually... one of their employees told me that I would make something like 17p on the sale of a £20 book (sic.)!

No wonder they keep hush-hush about how much money their StorePlus can make agents.

If you want to become an agent of a telecommunications company, try Alpha Telecom. They are better than Telco and Telecom Plus. As well as having strong branding, Alpha Telecom pay 10% commission plus provide free unlimited literature (leaflets) etc.to promote your business. Can Telco/Telecom Plus beat that?

Nadeem
Do you have a contact at Alpha Telecom - I have been in contact with them but they don't seem to be offering this any more on the Aplha Direct Service.
Thanks

  12 months on......

Well, a further update for the sceptics.

Last month I earned over £1,600 from Telecom plus.

Seems reasonable to me. I also pick up a Porsche for a month soon and will also be going on an all expenses cruise in December - probably to the Carribean.

Telecom plus PLC results come out next week (for all you budding stockmarket investors) and hints are that the results are going to be good.

Re: Price comparison to Cable - fine, on some calls Telecom plus won't beat it, but do you realise with cable you are charged a "connection fee".

Anyway, don't want to get dragged into the nitty gritty.

Also, Telecom plus now do the cheapest gas and electricity in the UK - the only company to allow you to earn a residual income from the customers (i.e. you get paid every month for your customers usage).

Whilst sometimes Telecom plus can seem a little slow with their repsonses, they are still a relatively young company - but any PLC that is 30% owned by the CEO, I am happy to invest in.

So you are aware, I am a shareholder too.

  Alpha Telecom

I've just looked at their www.alphatelecom.co.uk site - it seems very incomplete - do they still exist ?

Also, the link to their www.alphatelecom.com site (and the URL itself) doesn't work.

Are they another casualty like European Telecom ?

  Alpha Telecom Contact Details

Alpha Telecom are alive and kickin' - I think they caught the net bug a couple of years after every one else and hence their incomplete online operation until recently. They seem to be blitzing the London Underground and a couple of television stations these days.

I've had several emails asking me the contact details for Alpha's agent program. I don't get a penny for referring anybody, but I just thought I'd post the details here so I don't have to provide the details to each person who emails me individually...

The agent manager for Alpha Telecom is Tarek Shaikh. He's a friendly guy; if you mention me, he'll help you out. Alpha's general telephone number is 0800 376 1788

Alpha agents mainly work offline, but if you ask nicely, Tarek might create a personalised web page for you like this.

His direct contact details are:
Tarek Shaikh
Alpha Telecom Communications Ltd.
Direct: 020 7892 3605

Let me know if anybody needs further help

P.S. Before you sign up with Telecom Plus read the small print VERY carefully and ask them questions if you are unclear about anything. They give you 17p on the sale of a £20 book and £1 on the sale of a dishwasher. (Of course, you should also read the Alpha Telecom agent contract as well before you decide to promote them.)
