Thread: amazon add dynamic content

I've been using the Amazon.com dynamic content for a while, and I was hoping they'd add it to the UK version. It's a very useful way to keep your links up to date without having to spend time updating them.

yeah have been playing around with it to tonight looks quite powerful, and adds exciting and relevent material to websites.

I wish other sites were so dynamic and had such reporting as amazon

Commission is just 5% though (minus VAT, which makes it 4%), even for direct links from these dynamic links to books. Nobody is going to get rich on that.

One thing I've noticed is none of the affiliate gurus, Allan Gardyne et al, link to Amazon. It's not worth it: more and more links on their site to non-paying products, virtually zilch chance of earning 15%, and only commission on first sale - IF the person doesn't choose to think about it and return later. Otherwise you get 0%.

30 pence commission on a CD is not much of a contribution towards the cost of a living nowadays. Even a Mars Bar costs more than that.

I added some over the weekend in addition to my specific links - see Books pages (3 of them) at www.puertopollensa.com but I keep finding that the little photos of the book covers don't always display.

Anyone else experience this? Although I just wonder if this happens when there isn't a pic available so you just get a big gap!

I think the blank bit is because they dont have a image for that book. Very nice site I wanna go on holiday now.
