    Hi

I would like to bring the Energylinx UK Home Energy Price Comparison Programme to your attention. (www.energylinx.co.uk/affiliate.html)

The programme is open to any webmaster who has a website with a UK targetted audience.

Energylinx is a free online home energy price comparison service where users can search for the best electricity or gas contract for their home. They can search by price, internet only account or by Friends of the Earth Green Energy League Table. The service is fully energywatch approved and is the only home energy price comparison service that actually lists every single contract available to the domestic customer in the UK.

In terms of our affiliate partners, we offer:

    * Real time stats thru our Online Resource Centre where you can create cookie codes, obtain banners and buttons, see your full account stats from users saving a quote to the actual status of their energy contract transfer right thru to details of payments due to you and payments made.

    * We offer a 28 day cookie, which coupled with a 90 day save option for the client means an effective 118 day opportunity to benefit from anyone using the site.

    * The site is extremely fast and simple to use

    * Payments are made monthly, immediately following the actual transfer for the energy contract.

If you wish further details please log on to www.energylinx.co.uk/affiliate.html.

This is a fantastic opportunity to participate in a 26 million household market.

Look forward to seeing you sign up for the programme.

See my post re Telecom plus

I like the fact that your site actually quotes standing charges. I'm working on the basis of finding the best deal for myself (including affy rebates), and then adding a couple of pages on my money saving sites when I've done this.

Like U Switch and Energy Spy, you put Atlantic as the best deal, but include an £8.50 rebate. No mention of this on their sites. Rebates & cash back to me are just what T+ call "confusion marketing" (I'm not a T+distributor, but I like their term).

Also, as there are several comparison websites out there, I'd look at who offers the best comm rates as an important factor too - could we have some comparisons for these as well?

    Thanks for your post.

Just to clarify one point, Atlantic Electric and Gas have obviously been quoted as the best deal for your particular circumstances but this very much depends on where you stay, how much energy you consume and how you wish to pay. Suppliers are also additionally ranked depending on your request, which might be:

    By best price
    By renewable energy supplier
By Friends of the Earth Green Energy Deal

The 8.5 that you mention in the case of Atlantic Electric and Gas is an additional 8.5% discount off their standard rates as a result of you electing to pay by monthly direct debit.

Every tariff on our site is 100% accurate, so I cannot comment on why other members of our peer group do not mention this.

In terms of Telecom Plus, you will also find them listed as a supplier on our website (as is every other supplier of domestic electricity and gas), you will however note that we do not include the tariff that is available should you sign up to their telecoms deal. This is as result of energywatch only wishing us to carry details of energy tariffs that can be cancelled at 28 days notice and with no additional strings attached.

In terms of what deal is available to your own website, this is discussed in the first post on Energylinx. We would encourage you to join our programme, I am quite sure that it will be of interest to your website visitors, financially rewarding to you at the same time providing an entirely impartial government accredited service.

Just one last note, did you know that 160,000 electricity and gas contracts are signed up to each week, with 32,000 of these being over the internet.

Hope this helps answer your questions.

    Thanks for the clarification

Yes, I know there are lots of people changing, and I think things have settled down a little.

In 1998, I worked for 6 months for Powergen, then East Midlands Electricity, selling their gas. They said at the time that 70% of conversions came from door to door. I would guess a lot less come this way now. I'd far rather build a website and watch people come to it - and it should really be something to put on any financial services site - who else gives you £50-100 saving for doing so little?

I've used Uswitch for the past 18 months and can recommend them - except for their commission rate! Just shopping around and like http://simplyenergy.com at £18 for a dual fuel contract and a freephone number.

Interesting to hear what you say about USwitch, out of interest do they offer real time stats like Energylinx?

Energylinx has a resource center which lets you have access to details such as who has saved a quote, who has signed up for a new energy supply, the status of the energy transfer, what you are owed and what they have paid you.

Payment is at the month end following transfer and all affiliates have access to an 0800 telephone number

I think also you will find that Energylinx will pay more than USwitch and the agreement is non-exclusive.

Sounds brilliant, I get a spreadsheet of switches a few days after the end of the month, what more can an affiliate ask for What's your commission rate, and when do you pay out? I know that I can expect less if you pay out before you get paid, that's why the simplyenergy rate looks higher as they pay only when they get paid. Contact me on the email address in my profile. Thanks.

    Hi,

I would like to let you know that although Enerylinx may offer a good commission and is their own independent affiliate program, i have had problems getting in touch with them it takes weeks to get a reply, i know that Kenny is the Head of the Affiliate program but he is always busy i think its too many affiliates to deal with.

At the moment i am having problems getting my commission, i have been told payment would be made on 31st of the month. It's now 12th Feb 09 and i have not received my payment i have emailed Kenny and a lady who's in charge of finance which i have had 1 email saying she would email me back the other day and i am still waiting for a reply, i have sent an email again and hope she will get in touch as it's 3 days ago now.

This is my 1st payment of Energylinx and it's making me think about removing the affiliate links from our website and forget about the commission owed and find another company.

I have never had a problem with any other payments from other companies and can't understand why i am having a problem with Energylinx.

Has anyone else had any problems with Energylinx or getting a payment from them?

    Please let me know.

    Thank you
