Question Amazon UK Web Services - 15% Possible?

Sent en enquiry to Amazon UK support twice, but each time they sent me a template email back not answering my specific question. So was wondering if anybody here could possibly help please:

I have an enquiry about the Amazon.co.uk web services. The associates section at Amazon.co.uk links to the following script:

http://www.ellyart.co.uk/zahadum/metafallback.php

If somebody clicks on the 'buy' button, do we receive 15% or 5% commission on books?

Basically, do direct web services links to certain books qualify for 15% commission?

Thank you.

N. Azam

The official line from Amazon can be found here -

Although I think the bit about having to reformat the link has now changed and the correct URL is being returned.

Thanks for that. Most helpful.

So it looks like the links generated by the script I mentioned above DO qualify for 15% commission.

Yep, the only thing you will need to do is add in your AWS dev-tag as per the exemple in the Amazon forum (don't think it's a major problem if its not there, but you never know what might happen in the future).
