Smart-Quotes affiliate program

Hi everyone
Been looking around for a couple of weeks on the forum (I've even managed a few posts!), I would like to introduce our affiliate program to all of you that have a financial website or channel on your site.

Smart-Quotes offer loan and credit card quote engines that work with a broad panel of lenders and credit card issuers, many of whom offer online decisions for loans and credit cards. Smart-Quotes launched their loan quote engine in 2002 and it allows customers to search and compare loans before they make a choice of which to apply for.

We believe that the advantages of Smart-Quotes are:

- Smart-Quotes offers substantial revenues to our partners by sharing the larger commissions from the secured loan sales from resolicited customers - ie where the customer has been declined first time and we manage to convert them - we still pay commssion to affiliates.
- We also have a comprehensive tracking system which shows your traffic in real time, and also sales leads generated (updated monthly) and commissions due.
- Smart-Quotes can either provide the loan quote engine that is branded Smart-Quotes for a directory website or we can offer the quote engine in a branded version that completely integrates with your site.
- When we create you as a live affiliate, we issue you links for the quote engines, and also at this time you will get links for each lender directly that you can use as 'recommended' or in banner campaigns. This appeals to brand aware customers, who for example may have seen an egg advert on the TV.

Smart-Quotes also runs affiliate programmes for insurance providers such as LloydsTSB and Endsleigh car insurance quote engine which can be co-branded to match the look and feel of your site.

Just wanted to add - great service from Jenny - she took the time to phone and check details with me even though she had a real stinker of a cold and should really have been tucked up at home.

I've been featuring Smart Quotes on my loans site for a few months now. As you've all noticed, they're very friendly and very efficient (and I wish that they'd kept quiet instead of inviting you lot into the parlour ).

My only reservation would be to those of you who scream blue murder when a payment is a day late, this scheme might not be for you. Financial institutions are notoriously slow payers, you might have to wait for your money. I've just been looking at a statement from Smart Quotes dated 9th September. It includes payments from Abbey National for April, May and June, payments from the Halifax for April and May and payments for June from a couple of other lenders.

I hope that Jenny and Lucy won't mind me pointing this out. I'd hate to see them slagged off on this board because some of their lenders are slow in paying.

Provided that you can cope with the delays then I'd say that Smart Quotes are pretty much as good as it gets. I've dropped Loanspage because I think that their latest offering is too restrictive and I don't like to turn away potential customers that might have cost me a lot of money to obtain. Smart Quotes have a large enough range of lenders and products that they seem able to fill just about any lending requirement and that's what I want from a merchant.

Can agree with you that Jenny and the rest of the team are doing a great job setting this up. The workload must be pretty hefty at the moment.
