We track all referrers from your site to ours, for any visitors who have come from your site to ours and purchased any of our products, we shall give you up to 5% commission based on the price of the item - EVERY TIME a visitor referred from you buys an item from us. This is confusing me - 5% commission on a free catalogue? I assume it's 5% of the bounty they receive, but they do state "5% commission based on the price of the item"
As they're not selling anything except free catalogues (and I can't imagine the catalogue people telling us how much was spent), I really can't figure this one out.
But then I took "we track all referrers from your site to ours" to mean that they simply look at their referral logs for tracking our commission rather than use any halfway sophisticated system. Laugh you may, but I've seen it happen (last month as it happens), and I'm not putting that amount of trust in a merchant.
