or i could just post it here

Hi Stuart,

With reference to our conversation today, where I explained that a strong and established online mobile retailer is taking over the running of the FonetasticMobile™ affiliate program. I would like to outline the following;

If you confirm your ongoing use of the FonetasticMobile™ affiliate program the new company taking over the will offer the following benefits;
£10 Bonus per unit on top of your existing level of commission.
This bonus will be available for 6 months.
Improved payment terms of 21 days from month end.
Improved customer deals on many handsets.
The technology, Branding, systems & URL’s will remain the same.
Unique telephone ordering system will remain.

This will give you the best possible opportunity to maximize your ongoing revenue from mobile phone sales by using the best systems coupled with the infrastructure and payments from a large established and financially stable company.

Although some of the payment issues with FonetesticMobile™ in the past have proved frustrating, we feel the above proposition is the best possible way forward which circumstances will allow.

In order to secure your additional £10 per unit (on top of your existing commission rate) and the improved payment terms above, please reply immediately confirming your support and that you do want to take advantage of these improved commercial terms moving forward.

Thanks
Russell Short

Just got the email, but we still wont get money for generated sales for the last 12 months.

Few questions come to mind:
1- who is the new company "taking over" ? no info on that
2- lack of communications since day1 regarding payment

I've just received it too.

Loquax said he isn't accepting it as there was no form of negotiation and basically we either have to like it or lump it.

Cheers
Wardy

Like it or not it looks like the only way we're going to see any money whatsoever.

I'm not accepting - an extra £10 does not compensate for no payments for six months, work done to recode sites, promotion, the lack of information, the misleading "cheque is coming next week"... etc.

Negotiation means to reach a settlement - not be told this is what you have to take!

And I also believe the negotiations should have been done with the new company and have nothing to do with SE - basically why the hell should I trust SE or VS with these negotiations?

I fully expect most people to accept this offer - but £10 is not enough and is not acceptable. Now if the only way I can register my view on this is not accepting the offer, albeit knowing it could be a way of getting something back, then that's what I'll do.

The reason why VS are able to sell this package is because of the affiliates - so in essence you're doing these guys a favour - compare what they've done for you and decide.

Jason

I have received the email and yet to decide what to do.

I still dont understand how they can transfer Fonetastic to another company and than sell it from there. Why could't the same have been done by SE? And if Fonetastic is sold by Vermillion Skies Ltd to another company what happens to the amount they receive from the sale? don't they have to compensate the creditors or affiliates?

I believe we should be taking legal action and pointing out that instead of paying creditors they have done the above.

Anyone going to the meeting tomorrow?

----------------

If SE had sold it they would have to pay affiliates with the money from the sale.

-----------------

VS do not have any debt to affiliates and so the money from the sale of the "fonetastic" technology and the affiliate base will just go into the back pockets of the owners as planned.

Russell and Steve do not care as they have been paid.

The old owners/ directors don't care as they will get a good lump sum.

The new owners won't care as they will have a loyal affiliate base who can't see when they are robbed and are determined to drive sales to earn back their lost commissions from the old company.

COME ON GUYS.
