Hi mate,

The site is still in development so I have only done a small test to see how it converts. I've so far sent 250 leads to Freedom and have been paid for a few of them so far. In all honesty though I have only sent the bulk of the leads in over the last few days so it will take a while for them to process. The problem is that as we are targetting people who don't have credit cards or sometimes even a bank account, extracting payment from them can be time consuming. FWIW the official conversion rate from Freedom is currently standing at 18%, however it was 16% a few weeks ago so is on the rise.

Once I get more results in I will let you know, as promised.

We will hopefully see the fully automated websites go live within a couple of weeks and that should speed things along too.

Cheers!

Kieron

Umm sent in about 40 odd card and bank applications .. just went to try and login and it said my account is no longer active.

Anyway I dont think its likely you'll see payment anytime soon as the cards not available still.

Did you pay your £199 Aqua? As if you didn't then that could be why you were deactivated.

There are cards available as I have definately been paid commission on them, £20 per card.

Cheers!

  I applied!

Hiyas
I made an application to them, as I was wondering what the lead time etc was like as we had considered trying to get them for Smart-Quotes. 3 weeks and nothing, not a sausage, no application form, no contact!!
hmmm

Well I for one refuse to work with any company that doesn't provide sausages.

Looks like our account is no longer active, as I still can't get my head around paying to join what is basically an affiliate scheme (albeit a "broad niche*" scheme that has potential) ... perhaps if they were available on a network, customer take-up would be higher, the brand stronger, and the sausages would run free...

Duncan

*"Broad Niche" ...err, quite specialist, but with loads of potential - like CatDog on Nickelodeon. See also "Oxymoron" and "Cobblers" (definition 3 - nothing to do with shoes).

Did you apply for a card or to be an affiliate Jenny?

Drop me a line and I'll get the MD to give you a call if you'd like?

Cheers!

you know first impressions count!

the way this promotion came to my attention was dodgy if i remember correctly in fact that whole initial thread turned real nasty.

"The monthly charges are crazy seeing as you pay 99 pounds for the card initially"

I have had a close look at this. I have to agree it didnt feel right. I dont agree with upfront payments for joining the scheme and the card rates seem to be an absolute rip off.

I still have some morals and taking advantage of the desperate in our society is a little to low for me to go I am afraid.

Its a great idea if it can be done right with the right company.

Was Freedom Financial - Now Hypocrisy

I don't promote this card, but all those who slag it off should look at what they do if they promote the following loans:

Consolidation Loans for those in trouble

Finance Solutions - charging an up front fee...

and then start complaining about morals and ethics.

Cheers.

BrokerG,

I'd also like to point out to people the following statistic:

The average outstanding credit card debt in the UK (i.e. money people have borrowed but obviously cannot afford to pay back) is now over £1,500. At a typical APR of 14%, it costs the average UK card holder around £210p.a. in interest payments alone. Hence, whilst "normal" credit cards are issued for "free", the average person ends up paying over £4 a week in costs.

Like most things, you get what you pay for.

There is an important conference call tonight, so hopefully I will be able to give some more details tomorrow.
