I am getting what seems to be a growing backlog of undispatched items (ie Ordered items(amazon) + Ordered items (Marketplace) - Total items dispatched).
Although sales figures are more or less constant the gacklog is growing.
Is there any easy way to see what hasnt been dispatched, without exporting all to an excel spreadsheet and writing a macro.

    Cheers

    The short answer is no.

I used to try to keep track of what hadn't been dispatched, but it proved impossible so I gave up. Even when a product is dispatched, if you have multiple orders for that item, you don't know which order it is that is being dispatched.

A fair few of the outstanding items will be things where people have cancelled their orders (particularly if it's marketplace and its more than a couple of days old), or the occasional pre-order.

    IanM,

You seem to know a bit of about Amazon etc..

As no-one answered my post do you know what is meant by a "Special Category Item" on amazon?

And is there still a cap of £10 on commissions? And is this cap per order or per item?

Amazon tend to use this for the new categories that they introduce, where they are offering enhanced commission rates. Currently it's Home and Garden and you get an extra 2.5% commission on those items.

The cap is still there, but only applies on electrical items (and possibly toys and games) and it's per item - so if you sell 2 DVD players worth £9 commission each, you would get £18.

The backlog could be Marketplace, most of the stuff I have been collecting preorder for is now out (LOTR, D&D cartoon) I havent had any pre orders for StarWars, not surprising as why give your money to amazon to gain interest on for 4 months whan you can order it a week or two before and get the same price...
