How to share views?

hi there. i am a new member here and i am completely lost. i am a student doing marketing major grad. i have some ideas and views about different strategis or conditions or lets say promotional campgains or attarctive meaasge lines..but i cant seem to find a place to share those ideas on line. is there any place that i can share my ideas? and on top of that if i try telling these to anyone who is somehow related to a marketing campgain they simply brush me of saying that i am just a student... how do i et rid of these problems? and where can i actually share my views that will be appretiated and i will be guided in developing even more ideas? Please respond. Thank you

Short answer is here !

This forum is full of helpful characters ( & lurkers ) & I guarantee no-one is going to laugh at you - unless you buck friendly advise.

Apart from some ( semi ) mature characters who are always interested in a fresh opinion there are lots of students, some probably younger than you.

But at the end of the day go for it - who knows who "anaerobic" is anyway, if you do show your ar$e you are not likely to bump into anyone just as your deliverying that perfect chat up line

You want something so ask - what do you have to loose?

PS - Probably would have been better to post your query in "the Affiliate Lounge" may get better response.

Judging from your initial post if you want to suceed in marketing learning to spell (or getting a spellchecker) would be a wise start...

I know we all make the odd typo but the number of errors in your post would suggest that either you have done them intentionally or you are a true testament to education in Modern Britain.

That's a bit harsh !

There are people on this forum in the super affiliate league whose spelling and grammar are pretty poor but it hasn't stopped them succeeding.

Didn't mean it to be harsh - just that anaerobic was asking for advice on how to be taken seriously - and in my experience being able to spell when you make your first written communication with someone is a good first step.

It is true that you don't need to be able to spell to be successful or indeed to be good at marketing - but at the same time if you produced a website with that number of spelling errors on the first page I doubt that many people would proceed any further.

When I'm looking at other sites, one spelling mistake per page is ok and I can accept that it is probably a typo (and yes I do discover them on my own sites too

) but more than one per page says to me that the creator really doesn't care about their image.

umm...other then the fact that some of you are "VERY HARSH" thank you for the reply. and about the typo.. u guys already answered my questions...it was 4 in the morning...and people usually sleep at 4? i was up but drouzy...so....there is my explanation...and i deffinately do know how to write or pronounce rightly..and on top of that...we are here not to judge our writing capabelities are we? ...so please excuse my typos.

now to the matter at hand...thank you to those who showed me the way of looking. i appretiate it. i have got an idea about an add campgain about a service oriented company. Lets say something like FEDX or DHL or UPS..here is the idea:

what does these service providers offer? assurance of delivary.. safe delivay..in time delivary....something like the idea that if you send something via these you will get the package no matter whats the time, place and sitation.

Now my idea is to compare the service quality namely timing and assurance that the service will be done with comparing them with the universal truths.

lets look at it:

the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. EVERYDAY no matter what.

Water in the sea, river always flows.

the moon always moves round the earth.

and FEDX,DHL,UPS(any company name) always delivers.

how does the idea sound? premature? problems with it? i will like to have some suggestions on this. if something is wrong..will you be kind enough to point out what? what are the good or bad points? remember i am just a noive. and this idea is 100% mine so please do not copy it either. it might be cheap but still its mine
