I know that there are still some Fonetastic Mobile affiliates here, so please heed this warning.

If you are carrying a page for the Sharp GX30 with a description starting "Since the release of the GX10 a couple of years ago.." please be advised that the copy you sourced from Fonetastic Mobile was not their intellectual property and they are using it and redistibuting it unlawfully and in violation of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. In fact, that intellectual property is mine.

Despite attempts to have Fonetastic Mobile remove the unlawful copy and advise affiliates to remove it, many pages are still doing so. You should be aware that I am now in the process of sending out Cease and Desist complaints and DMCA takedown notices where appropriate. I don't want to damage the interests of any other affiliate, but you must appreciate that this intellectual property was not Fonetastic Mobile's to distribute.

Please check your copy and change it where necessary.

That copy was pre mobileshop taking over and running Fonetasticmobile, that copy has not been around since April, so as Dynamoo said, if anyone is still using this copy then please update it from Fonetasticmobile web site.

I know how annoying it is to have text and images copied by others (I've had more than my own fair share of stolen intellectual property), but I have generally come to the conclusion that unless you catch it really early on - you can end up chasing your own tale as once it starts to get copied on the net, there is no stopping it and it is a never ending battle.

Dynamoo - I know how frustrating it is, but is it really worth all the effort chasing affiliates beyond Fonetastic as they would have only been using it in good faith from the fonetastic site?
