Assuming you're an associate of the UK Amazon site and I'm following your question, log into the Associates area from the link at the bottom of just about any Amazon page, and look for Build-A-Link at the top of the page or down the left hand side.

There's plenty of options for different types of link.

I hope that's what you were asking for.

    All the best

Unless, of course, you mean can you track sales from different urls from the same Amazon account, in which case the answer is "no", because they all get lumped together. Amazon's help section says:

"You may use the same tracking ID for multiple sites. All click-throughs and sales will be treated as having come from a single account. If you prefer separate reporting for each Web site, then it would be better to apply separately for each site."
The great thing about the Internet is that if something important happens anywhere in the world, day or night, you can always turn off the computer.

Doing a quick search on the forum for 'Amazon tracking' I found:

    http://www.a4uforum.co.uk/showthread...threadid=22772

So Amazon will apparently set you up with 100 tracking IDs if you email them.

Cheers wibble - I've been an Amazon affiliate for years and I've never known that!

Thanks for all the replies, I greatly appreciate your help. I thought it was possibible to have tracking urls, I'll give amazon associates support a bell and ask them to enable it. I guess it's less of a waste of resources for them if only the people that request the feature get it enabled on their accounts.

After faffing around with Amazon Associates Support and sending them an email asking for the ids, and then confirming that I definately want 1,500 they have made a change to my account so I can select different ids.

However, I'd be greatful if anyone that knows the system could give me a hand, as it's either extremely broken or I'm being extremely dumb. I am supposed to have 1,500 tracking ids, but yet as far as I can see I have a total of 8! Maybe I'm screwing this up and I'm not sure the Support people will be much help.

    Has anyone got any ideas?

    David,

I've not got that many urls, so I can't be definate, but if you run a "tracking id" report then all your IDs should be shown.

The only thing I'm not sure about is whether it lists URLs that haven't generated any traffic.

relateing to the above...does anyone know how themutual.net is doing the tracking the ids for its of its users?

somewhere on amazon terms and conditions is stated that you shouldnt "incetivize" users as an associate.

Got it working now, sorry KGP not sure what you mean.

All the tracking ids are listed, not 8, I just didn't scroll down! Reason being I was on my phone and the displays hard to see. Anyway thanks for the help.
