getting started as AM merchant

A good friend of mine runs a very successful company that installs door entry systems (key pads, proximity devices, swipe cards for multi occupancy flats, offices, school buildings etc) in the south east of england. We are looking at how to increase sales (and potentially expand into new geographic areas)though affiliation and would be prepared to offer 8% of all sales from leads generated (flat 10% of all sales that can be valued at anything between £100 to £5,000 +).

No web presence at the moment but we could create a site to explain the services available and add a form to request a quote. I guess that tracking coudl be added to the quote form (not sure how technically, not overly familair with cookies and php type stuff) and we would be open to audit of the order book .

Any ideas if this is likely to fly and what we should do next to set the programme up?

Expected target audience is any affiliate with a site related to mulit-occupancy, moving house, b2b, lettings etc etc.

Any help greatfully appreciated.
