Hello,
I
am the MD of the Experiential Learning Centre and would like to announce our new independent affiliate programme. I
am happy to answer any questions you might have either on this thread, by pm or by email.
Experiential Learning Centre - Leadership Development, Business Skills and Teamworking
In summary, we are paying £100 per sale for each public course booking and £100 for each in house lead that converts to an initial sale. We are using a 365 day cookie as the lead time for sales can vary from instant up to around 6 months. Once you are an affiliate we will also accept any offline leads you send us and credit your account accordingly when they convert to sales.
Most sales are made offline so we have placed affiliate tracking cookies on every page so that none of your introductions slip through the net. This should also apply to anyone who decides to telephone us rather than submit an enquiry form (although we try to discourage telephone enquiries).
In terms of target market the 'in house' courses are aimed at medium (100+ employees) to large companies. The 'public' courses are aimed at small businesses and some private individuals who are prepared to fund their own learning and development. As far as affiliate commission is concerned it doesn't matter which of these products you promote - i.e. if you are promoting 'in house' courses and a visitor ends up buying a 'public' course or vice versa, you will still be credited with the sale. While we do sometimes work with overseas clients, this programme is mainly going to be effective for affiliates that have a good UK presence.
By the end of this week we should have deep links available for every product on the site but the banners might take us a little longer.
There are no keyword restrictions if you want to run PPC campaigns. In fact, the only restriction is no email marketing campaigns that point directly to our site (this will result in account cancellation). If you have a genuine opt-in list that you think would be the right target market for our services, I suggest you set up a landing page on your own site that then directs interested parties through to us.
I hope you find this to be an attractive affiliate programme. We have tried to get it right with our high commission payments, length of cookie and recognition of offline introductions and sales activity. If you have any suggestions, I
am happy to listen. The training industry hasn't yet embraced affiliate marketing in a big way so I think this is a great opportunity fro both ELC and affiliates that wish to promote a different type of product.

and then click on the link for our affiliate zone where you can apply to join the programme - no adult or gaming sites (not consistent with our brand image and unlikely to be the type of traffic that converts).
Many thanks and best wishes
Simon
