Brand new affiliate scheme - but we want your input!

Hi everyone - I have been given the task of building a brand new affiliate scheme for our business and we want to create a great scheme.

Our product is local business directories right up and down the UK and is being launched very soon.

We are planning two types of scheme as follows:

1 - Commission based on sales of advertising to our directories. We are looking at paying 10% commission on any new sales generated from an affiliate. Prices for our product start at £130 and rise to £2000. We only need affiliates to generate the signup/lead. Our telesales staff will then call the customer and generate the sale which will then credit 10% of the sale to your account. We are also planning to allow manual leads from you via an affiliate lead form via our system (if you sell and its not over the net we would still pay you).

2 - PPC ie getting our brand out there and used by the general public. We are looking at paying affiliates a set fee for simply getting the public to click through to our site and using the system. Very simply and no catches.

Here is what we are asking potential affiliates to do - we want to know how many potential affiliates would like to sign up to our scheme when launched so that we can get to grips with the the resources we need to be able to support you properly (we are very aware that in the past some schemes don't offer enough support). We are also going out on a limb here by asking you to help us by making suggestions as to what you would like to see in the scheme.
