Have been considering this, but need an idea or push on what to do? who to supply? Where to get equipment from?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi,

The hardest thing about setting up a call centre is actually getting the leads. The rest is pretty straight forward.

If you want to do this really cheaply you can:

Buy refurbished PC's from ebay for about £125 each
Use an unlimited voip provider. Voiptalk is alright. I got 50,000 landline minutes for £252.99 a month
Advertise on gumtree for staff (its free)
Find an office that doesnt have a lease just one months notice.

    Thats pretty much it.

In regards on what to supply try not to be a one trick pony.

Use products that work well together, for example all the different insurances as opposed to just life insurance.

Before taking the drastic action of setting up a call center find a decent buyer or two.

Explain that you want to start small but grow quickly, find out if they have the room to grow with you. Take on 1 or 2 staff to work the process and if that goes ok then increase the workforce.

    Hope that helps a bit.

    Cheers
