Sky reports Alexon group have been acquired after going into administration.

"The deal means unsecured creditors, including suppliers and HM Revenue & Customs, will lose a combined total of £12m, while its lender, understood to be Barclays, loses around £15m."

I can confirm that all the Brands are still live on the Linkshare network and gearing up for the Xmas period.

We are working with the owners for an official statement to send out but i can confirm that all Brands are available to affiliates that wish to promote them.

We actively seek to pay our Affiliates within a week of receiving payment from the merchant. If you do have any outstanding payment queries which are outside of their invoice period please send me the details and i will look into it for you.

We have announced that the Group has been acquired by an affiliate of Sun European Partners as part of a pre-packed administration. The future of the business has been secured under a new name - which will be confirmed shortly. The business is now in the best shape to be able to build on the good work of recent times and deliver future growth for our great brands (Ann Harvey, Alexon, Dash, Eastex, Kaliko, Minuet Petite, Lazy Lu).

Due to Alexon Group going into administration, our contract with LinkShare no longer stands. As a result of this we have decided to close our program with LinkShare. All of the debts of the Alexon Group have been passed onto our administrators KPMG. As our relationship with you is important, and we want to build on this relationship going forward, we will be honouring your outstanding commissions in full.

We look forward to launching a new affiliate program over the next few weeks in order to get back to mutually beneficial trading as quickly as possible, and will be in contact when we have selected the best network for our business and for you. We are really excited about the future of our brands and will be investing heavily in building new improved websites in 2012 which will help with your conversions. In the meantime, I can reassure you that we are working very hard to maintain our current websites and its business as usual.
