Changes to Boden Affiliate Program on LinkShare
Most of you are likely to be familiar with
Boden; one of the UK’s best performing merchants, due to a colourful and high quality product range,
very high conversion rates, and most importantly, a
high average order value (£110).
The Good News
The good news for affiliates is that Boden work closely with our affiliates, and are constantly developing mutually beneficial schemes and incentives. Over the next few weeks Boden will be changing our commission structure to reward the large number of affiliates who drive “new customers” to the site.
Old Structure – 6% commission for all customers
New Structure – 5% commission, with an extra 5% on new customer orders.
Why is Boden changing its commission structure?
Boden pay commissions out on GROSS sales value. This, coupled with the fact that you can now earn a further commission on all New Customer sales, means that in reality with this commission structure you can earn a whopping 10%; a far more rewarding offer. We also pay out on returned items too. Please note, all affiliates will be moved over to this new commission structure by the 30th April 2008, if they have not opted in.
As an example of how this may work for you, take 10 transactions with a basket value of £100 each, worth a total of £1000.
5% Default commission = £50
5% New customer commission = £50
Total commission = £100
Paid out on GROSS Basket Value ie inclusive of VAT, £1000
Whilst they are monitored, there is no claw back system on returns; you earn your £100 commission on the entire basket value

3. Find Boden and click on the logo
4. On the left hand side in the box title "Program Details" then simply select the new offer (select offer 12.1) and click Update to accept the offer.
