Great Plains, a sister brand of French Connection, was launched in 1989 as a collection of relaxed, informal, timeless classics at affordable prices.

The Autumn/Winter collection is now available, and we would like to take this opportunity to invite all fashion affiliates to join the programme! As Great Plains is an upmarket fashion label, we are mainly looking for fashion and lifestyle sites as well as blogs, and do not allow discount sites.

Here is some information on the Great Plains Autumn Winter 2008 collection:
Classic, ladylike chic prevails in the Great Plains Autumn/Winter 08 collection, with a coveted range of beautifully designed wardrobe essentials mixed with sophisticated tailoring. The overall look is modern yet timeless with a nod to the literacy set of the 1920’s.

Everyday tailoring is updated with ladylike florals and bold graphic prints, layer dresses and tops over cotton jersey or neutral knitwear to follow the eclectic feel of the collection. Flattering jersey wrap dresses are given an injection of colour with splashes of orange and aqua, wear with a chunky, bell sleeve cardigan.

Great Plains have given the classic little black dress an elegant twist and created a capsule collection to flatter all. Each dress has been given it’s own unique design; emphasise the silhouette with a cinched in waist or add detail with an embellished jersey dress teamed with a black sequin clutch. The short sleeved structured dress gives a nod to modernist tailoring, for a more luxurious feel opt for the layered chiffon dress. Finish off all styles with a tailored coat to complete the look.

Outerwear follows the eclectic feel with double breasted styles in herringbone, cropped 50’s inspired jackets and a luxurious soft Nappa leather biker jacket, complimenting the collection beautifully. Casual wear is updated with check shirts and embroidered smocks worn with slim or boot cut indigo denim jeans or soft cotton corduroy.
