I've been working on blog commenting, linkdirectory submissions, and article directory submissions but recently I focus more on social bookmarking.

I wonder if you can help you seem to be a bit of an expert and your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Our site Injury Lawyers UK Ltd - NO WIN NO FEE CLAIM could do with a kick up the but and whilst it is registered with hundreds of directories I have no idea how to kickstart it. We get lots of "hits" and lots of people favouriting the page according to awstats but it just is not producing the right type of traffic.

It is being picked up by google and occassionally, maybe once a month we get a submission where by fluke it has jumped to the top on a particular key word. Anything over and above that is going over my head.

Any simple suggestions? We have other ways of getting work but the site would be a good bunus of free leads which is always desperately required to boost profits. We have been reluctant to pay for someone to look formally at the site as lots of our friends have been ripped off in this way paying huge amounts for nothing.

What would be great would be someone who would like to develop the site with the view of taking commission from any leads generated???

Can you make any suggestions?

This is a very specific niche and the best thing you need to do is to start PPC campaign...

What marketing budget do you have ?

It's not all about google rankings and keywords, it is more about your customer base connected to your niche..

How many people search for injury legal advice online ? what other channels are available to you and may give you a better return...

newspaper advertising, perhaps opening your services to a free consultation within citizens advice centres ? ambulance chasing

mail shots .. etc . I think there may be better ways of spending your money to get a better ROI rather than ppc ..

If you've been banging away at it and getting no takers then perhaps you should be looking at your strategy rather than throwing cash at a ppc campaign..

Personally I'd save it up for a TV advert on a cable channel, but you may get a better online return by offering up advice articles and spread the word that way...

Either way it sounds like you need to step back and take another look at your options..

Try to spend a little amount of money into PPC campaign first to make sure your selected keywords are effective... Newpaper advertising is more expensive and needs a lot of budget... try some major keywords in PPC campaign and start with a maximum budget of $200

TBH I would be put off by that awful header image and two flashing animations. IMHO, get rid of the animation, make the flag image a quarter of it's size and make the title and phone number text, not an image. That way it will look neater and you will have more info/content above the fold.

But I then clicked on claims process and didn't think the page had changed because it looks so similar, with that same image of girl on phone. There is way too much identical info on each page. Add better content that is different for each page.

Your Award's Calculator and Contact Us links do not work. Even the contact us at the bottom of the page only jumps to the top of the page - you need a contact form for those who want to contact you by email. Oh, just found a link to one hidden! In fact half your links don't work as I would expect.

You have no terms and conditions or privacy policy on your site.

Your on page seo wants to be looked at too. Without looking too hard at it it appears that you have same metatags for every page?

Sorry if I'm harsh, but if you spend money sending people to a site like that you'll be wasting it. Sort your site out first and I think people would stay a bit longer on it.

If thats not a spammy use of the keyword meta, i don't know what is lol - as mentioned the onsite is a bit of a mess; page urls are are tbh terrible, and thats just the tip of the onsite SEO iceberg :td

Poor site coding aside, the visual design of the site is really letting the business now; it feels very much like a template, especially with the header section (thats already been mentioned) as it just doesn't fit in with the rest of the site.

I really don't think theres any point using PPC or similar as even people who do reach your site are likely to bounce off due to the poor quality of the site.

I'd also suggest you change to UK based hosting (as your currently hosted from Florida) - being hosted on a UK server will help your ranking in Google.co.uk and will obviously bring you more targetted visitors and potential clients.

I get overwhelmed with the social sites like myspace, facebook, and Twitter. I just like to use Facebook for family and friends. I have so much on my plate right now that I don't know how I can use it as a way to advertise. I am worried about using Facebook for promotion my sites because everyone will see pictures of my children and I only want family and friends to see those. Is there a way to get around this?

How does this social bookmarking tool thing work? Does it up date all the sites and save you time? Maybe this would be a good way to market. I do notice that some of my favorite blogs contain messages on the blog encouraging me to follow them on Twitter or Facebook. It must be working to some extent if people are using it all over the place. I do hear a lot about Twitter. I need to figure out a way to manage my time for effectively. I feel overwhelmed at times. How can I get it all done and really make some cash?
