    Hi Guys and Girls

Im new to this arena ie. website promotions. We developed our site and it is registered with lots of directories etc which has not seen any results. Some SEO sites say it is very compatable etc with search engines.

Injury Lawyers UK Ltd - NO WIN NO FEE CLAIM

Occassionally it jumps to the top and we get a lead or two. What we would really appreciate is some feedback, suggestions as to how we can improve traffic and to hear from anyone who would wish to possible promote the site for a commission. We would pay highly for converted leads generated. Upto 250GPB.

Any suggestions? PPC is a little to risky for us given the market we are in and the competition. We are happy just to get a double figure number of leads per month.

    Desperately need help.

Look forward to hearing from anyone who can.

    Regards
    Matthew

    Hi Matthew;

I read your post with interest as we are in the same field, so I wont give all my secrets away

I think you need to decide on a strategy, are you looking to move up on the search engines 'organically' or to use PPC? Or as is our case..both!

I would also install Google Analytics if you have not already done so and this should give you an idea of where the odd bit of traffic you get is coming from.

You say that PPC is risky but it's a risk you have to be prepared to take, yes competition for the top keywords is fierce but if you do your research you should be able to target some niche terms where the bids are slightly lower. try running a test campaign with a small budget and experimenting with keywords and seeing which work best for you, without wanting to give anything away I have been pleasantly surprised by the performance of some of the more niche terms and conversions. Do your research on PPC and you will lower the risk.

On the organic side, try to submit good quality content on issues relating to PI on article submission sites with a link back to your site, get your website into your signature on A4U for a start!

Finally, I think as was suggested in the other thread you really need to lose that large low-quality banner image at the top of the page. You may find that your bounce rate is quite high as visitors come to the site and quickly decide it's not for them.

    Hope this helps

    Kev

from an SEO point of view i would also review the structure and content of your pages. You have a huge set of keywords defined in a Meta tag these are largely ignored and you would be better served to just have a good description.

You should look at how your content is structured and use H tags (H1,H2,H3..etc) to denote headings, sub-headings and try to include a strong keyword in the H1 tag (eg 'personal injury claims') and you are also using several lines of javascript to swap a simple button image, ditch this code and also move your CSS styles into an external style sheet that way it is saved into the cache and doesn't have to be reloaded every time you go to another page. (judging from the .style1 .style2 etc the site was done in dreamweaver)

If thats not a spammy use of the keyword meta, i don't know what is lol - as mentioned the onsite is a bit of a mess; page urls are are tbh terrible, and thats just the tip of the onsite SEO iceberg :td

Poor site coding aside, the visual design of the site is really letting the business now; it feels very much like a template, especially with the header section (thats already been mentioned) as it just doesn't fit in with the rest of the site.

I really don't think theres any point using PPC or similar as even people who do reach your site are likely to bounce off due to the poor quality of the site.

I'd also suggest you change to UK based hosting (as your currently hosted from Florida) - being hosted on a UK server will help your ranking in Google.co.uk and will obviously bring you more targetted visitors and potential clients.
