I modified one of my first affiliate site, Its a an poker affiliate site.
It was launched 1 year ago with basic look, Now i worked on its design and did some SE optimization.
    The site is bigbonuspoker.com

Do you think now the design is looking professional ?

Basically site provides info about poker rooms review, poker bonus codes, poker software reviews, poker strategies etc.

Critiques will also appreciated , which will really help me.

I like it, site looks professional and most links point to an affiliate product or review.
The one thing I would suggest is moving the Top Poker Portals section on the left, down under your archives and categories.

Unless you have a good reason for having this poker portals (link trading maybe), I would either hide them or remove them entirely.

You don't want people to visit these sites, you want them to read your reviews and ultimately buy something.

The less options the better. =)

    Hey,
    Site looks very nice.
The simplicity is crucial here, your visitors come there for a reason - most of the time to find certain info and in your case it is easy to locate.

Design wise only thing I would change on homepage is at the bottom link"BigBonusPoker.com is the best site to find large..."
The blue is a little off
but its just me, anyway good job!

    Good luck!

Yup, the design looks quite cool and looks like a kind of site which I might visit regularly (design-wise).

Just a suggestion, maybe the recent articles could be cut smaller....so it won't look like the page is stuff full with text.

The design and navigation are quite solid.

I like that it is not flashy and focuses on what visitors are looking for with little to no distraction.

Design comment: While reviewing poker rooms, make use of their logos. Don't overlook the branding.

SEO comment: in the "Latest Articles " you have duplicate internal links for all articles. Unless you are using nofollows, you are losing PR juice to other pages, and overall home page value.

The same goes for your footer links.
