Help wanted moving domain and link juice to another domain

I am considering moving a wordpress blog, to a another domain name.

I want to move the posts to the new site ( which is a active site with posts) , I guess this can be done by using the export option on wordpress.

I also want to make sure the link juice transfers, the existing domain has some juicy authoritive links so want them to be transfered to this other domain. Would a simple 301 redirect on the old site do the trick.
