I have not looked at this yet,but I find your title rather confusing. It is a long mouthful and does not sound logical.
You call it the Cardiff Airport Long Term Parking Shop . What is a "parking shop" for starters?
That is certainly an obscure title. Does it encapsulate what you are attempting to achieve?
I have Visit Cardiff - an independent guide , as part of my visit-the-world.co.uk complex of global tourism sites. I have written my own text for all of the sites . It is easy to get to the top of Google with some obscure search term that no-one else would dream of using. But what use is it? Is there a typo there? Should it be PARKING STOP?
OK, findlite,
I have clicked it now. It dot work from one of the links. I see what it is about. Parking Shop is the correct term, but it is very obscure. Furthermore, you have Cardiff Airport in the title whilst attempting to serve airports all around the UK.
I do not see the sense of that. Cardiff Airport is small compared to many others, for one thing. However, it is also misleading. If you want to park at an English airport, why would you click Cardiff Airport for ANYTHING?
Typo there. I said it DOESN'T work from one of the links.
All i can say is that it earns me money![]()
When you say that Cardiff Airport Parking Shop site earns you money ,findlite, do you divulging what you would get in an average month?
What is misleading, is the fact is called Cardiff Airport.......when it is all UK airports.
I reckon that could be losing you trade galore.
what an idea? pogging? lol
Click Them and they Might Come
Strayman,
Are you replying to me ? What do you mean by "pogging" ? I am not familiar with this slang word, I'm afraid.
The point I was making about the "Cardiff Airport Parking " name , is that it is highly misleading , since the site deals with all airports in the UK. So the name is not apt.
Other airports are far bigger than Cardiff. I think this person would do far better with a more general name.
If he is already doing well, then good luck to him......but the name does not reflect the business !!
Hi atlanticgreyseal,
I think his main target is cardiff airport parking, however its an affiliate site he is using a large parking firms affiliate search box - hence the other airports are listed.
He could buy a more generic name that targets all airports, but that would be much harder for him to rank as the competition would be much higher, he's got this niche covered nicely and probably does quite well from it
As for the Cardiff Airport Long Term Parking Shop question, "shop" is a good buying word. If someone types in "shop" or "buy" when searching it normally means they are at the end of the buying process and are more likely to convert to a sale than someone using a generic phrase.
Hope this helps -
Russ
Thanks for the explanation Russ. Interesting , this use of "shop" or "buy". Would that work for a lot of titles?
The phrase "Cardiff Airport Long Term Parking Shop " does not make sense in ITSELF, but if there is an advantage with "shop" on the end, fair enough!
I entered "Cardiff airport long term parking shop " into Google UK just now, and mention of this thread on affiliates4u is 7th on the front page..
But when you click it, there is a WARNING !
It says there is a problem with the "Security Certificate " for the site and tells you NOT to open it.
So what's going on? Who's at fault?
How is "Findlite" getting business to his site? I put in those exact words and I come up against a closed site and a WARNING not to touch it!
When you click the link at the bottom of Findlite's posting, you go to cardiffairportparking.net , no problem. That is the bigger site of which Findlite is an affiliate. Am I correct?
But , as I say, it's different if you put his whole site name into google UK.
Maybe Findlite would like to clarify the situation?
