Since acquiring UK Press Releases - submit UK PR for free from Scriptmonkey last year, I have been doing a lot of heavy moderation to lick it into shape and now, I believe that we feature pretty good news pieces submitted in respect of British Business or of interest to a UK readership.
Unfortunately, I still get lots of poor quality submissions that don't respect our guidelines on Quality, News and quality of writing (Good English). I am dealing with that, having introduced geo-targetted messages (I just learned that GeoIP was natively a PHP function on my host!!) and identifying rogue IPs for banning. Moderation is becoming much easier .. and faster as we manage content much more efficiently.
It does appear from the limited statistics available so far that my problems originate with authors based in India. Based upon their direct linnking methods used, it looks like the majority are working in an outsourced capacity.
So two things :
1. We now have more capacity to report your business PR around innovation, new product ranges or other business announcements
2. If you are considering outsourcing link building and SEO, then make sure that you pay on results and not submissions .. presently I accept only 1 in 20 articles submitted ex India versus 1 in 2 from other regions.
Particularly for merchants in the Mobile Phone, Finance or Drug/Medicine/Cosmetic Surgery verticals ... you may be thinking that these groups are closed on UK Press Releases. However, that is said (and carried out) to control huge affiliate content writing activity giving us hundreds of the same re-hashed articles that we have to reject without a second thought. If you contact us first and comply with our other guidelines on news and quality, then you will be given Platinum status to allow posting to our generally closed topics. Please pm or contact admin@ukpressreleases.co.uk for more info or with any questions.
Oh ... nearly forgot the best part. Submitting to UK Press Releases is free.
