Can't see it happening Nadeem especially if it is only 3 pages.
Spent ages reading Yahoo UK's FAQ. Tried submitting our site via their free submission method, but hasn't been listed. Therefore we're considering paying the £199 one-time, non-refundable fee.
However, I was wondering if it is worth forking out the £199 as the site is small (only three pages) and mainly consists of links to other sites.
We make next to no money from the site, so can't afford to lose money on a paid submission if it's unlikely to get us listed.
Thanks.

I have a links directory listed that is nearly all affiliate links, i emailed Yahoo first and asked them to let me know if it would get listed if i submitted as i was unsure if it broke one of their submission rules.
They replied saying it was ok, so i went ahead and submitted (saving their email if i needed to argue later).

My gut feeling which is only based on reading bits from forums etc for the last few years about the Y! Directory is that you would struggle to get it in. I must say that I am not to keen on the free submit as I know of a good few sites that didn't get in this way and I think would have been okay via links. The best way for me seems to be with a link from a site that gets updated regularly if you can get that option.
I find Y! will add and rank your home page quickly but the rest of the pages can take a few weeks or months to be added - also find there will be pages that vanish back and forth after that.
Cheers

If they look at at it Opera or Firefox you might have a problem - the links can't be clicked...
