Hi,
i'll link swap with ya.
PM me
www.orlandovillasusa.com
Update!
Seems to me - if you would like to link swap you can get paid for linking to me (by becoming an affiliate) and I will add your link anyway if you are reputable/add value/not in direct competition with me
Thanks
Rich

Hi,
can I swap with both of you:
http://www.rentaholidaycaravan.com
Thanks
I put both URL's on the links page at http://www.orlandovillasusa.com/linkpartners.html
Is that ok, or is it not search engine friendly? I mean, is there another way I should be displaying links instead of just in text form on one page or is that fine with the search engines?
Where might I find your reciprocal links?
Cheers,
Kazooki
I'd have PM'd both of you to swap if the administrator hadn't "disallowed more than 1 PM per 120 seconds"!
What's that about?
PM me if interested.
Damn the Google Page Rank has dropped to 1.
Does it often do that?
Is your link anything to do with holidays? I read somewhere that the search engines prefer links to be of a similar category, is that right?
Hi ,
I can put the link in my site please pm me your banner details thanks
kazooki
You have added my link to a wep page that cannot be found within your site unless you know the exact location. The page can not be found by google either.
go to google and check which pages have been cached by typing into google search: site:www.orlandovillasusa.com
you cal also check the individual page by typing into google search: www.orlandovillasusa.com/linkpartners.html
You will see that Google's googlebot has not visited your links page because it cant find it, and if google cant find it then visitors wont.
You will need to add a link to your location on your home page somewhere.

There is a link on the home page, you just can't see it.
But Google can see it. I check it with this tool:
http://www.widexl.com/remote/search-...-analyzer.html
Input: www.orlandovillasusa.com and it will show you how well (or poorly) it is optimised
You can clearly see towards the bottom of the page that the link is there, the problem is, it wasn't long ago when I put the links page up, so the googlebot hasn't seen it yet I think.
I did the google thing you suggested, I think it may be wrong, what you said, as if it was the case that it cannot see the links, then surely it cannot see any links from my home page, as only the first page is listed when I search, I mean, that, none of the other pages like /contact.html and /map.html are showing on google as well, am I making sense?
But although your page isn't directly visible to the general public unless they know where to click, it is visible to search engines.
Is this OK for you, or would you like me to remove it? I hope it's OK.

"your page isn't directly visible to the general public unless they know where to click, it is visible to search engines."
*shudders*
I'd not be keen on that.
Linking shouldn't just be to try and get google to love you more it should be to benefit your visitors.
I can understand your comment completely.
But, it does us no favours, other than link popularity to link to each other in this game I think.
I mean, you wouldn't see a link from BT to NTL would you?
I know they are established companies and have established Web presences, but i'm just quoting an extreme example.
If I was a forum such as this, then it is the interests of the owner to link to sites such as tradedoubler or other affiliate programs, because that is what the site is about.
On the other hand, if a holiday insurance site wants a link, then it suits us to put it on a publicly visable page.
At the moment, this for me is completely an experiment, because, I don't know if it will work, I know people say it does, but I don't know for sure.
If it works well, and the link is not in direct competition with what I am trying to acheive then I will put a public link up for them as well.
It is hardly likely that someone who runs another villa site is going to post a public link to me either.
Sorry to have an ulterior motive for this. I am not pure and neither is the web.

You are breaking one of the major rules of Google by hiding a link, Google is much smarter that all of us, and will not hesitate to ban your site.
Your best bet is to build links with web sites offering information on holidays. There are plenty of these around all with good page rank.

Hiding dozens of links on your home page is not Ok. I found a lot of links listed under your <!-- hide this stuff from other browsers --> section
This type of behaviour is not acceptable
unknown
I understand.
But that home page is no longer there, well it's not supposed to be anyway, I never created it.
You see, the site where it is hosted, their server packed in, they have just uploaded an old backup of the site.
So basically, when I can log in again, as the fellas username and password no longer work, i'll change it back.
You can ask anyone who saw the site prior, that is not the same page.
Also, the /linkpartners.html is not there anymore, i'll need to do it again!
