Getting a forum going –swapping posts

Carrying on from the other thread on how best to get a forum going, does anyone fancy swapping a few posts a day on a forum, nothing heavy, no posting guarantees or agreements, just visiting each others forums and posting a couple of messages a day to get things moving and look like the forums are in daily use. I have not got a problem with signatures on my forum with aff links but maybe only one link per sig may be needed.

I have one forum that I would like to get a few posts on and get the other site members involved, got loads of members, but they don’t like posting. But then no-one does on an half empty forum board! I am on the net all day, every day so posting on your forums won’t be a problem.

Interesting, never heard of sonic. I guess this is one of my forums on the site for 'Betting & Predictions. I might have to look into renaming this then!

dont want to steal Ste's thread here, but...

I also have a forum! And im now deciding I want it to get busy. Its been dormant pretty much since feb, with 4 registered users, 1 admin and one me. other 2... not even sure how they found it.

Anyway my plan... I want to get some posts built up, and decent ones not just "hi" "hi, i like your name" ... shouldnt take much time really. So basically to start it may just be a few of you guys posting on a subject other than affiliate marketting, go on, will do you good

Once there are some posts building up ill send out a newsletter from the site in which the forum will be associated and the people will come flocking!

Forum subject: Fashion

its currently just a phpBB with a basic template installed, gets going ill either design a proper template or buy one.

Signatures: I have no problem with you having a link to your sites in your sig's, not too big though

but would prefer it if you didn't just have direct aff links in the sig, aff site links yes (www.yoursite.com) aff links no (tracking.network.com/messy/nasty.looking?link)
