    Hello,

First of all I must say that blogs are not that great today. So, I decided to use articles.

Wow, I must say it's a great tool. The most important is to name the headline of your article with your web site keyword/keyphrase. I was selling some system for generating free and targeted traffic, so I named article like 'Free Traffic Course', and then submitted the article to article submission engines.

And in a week I got my articles on the top with Google. I was doing nothing, just wrote a couple of educational (non-promotional articles).

If you don't trust my word, try it yourself: type in 'free traffic' into Google, on the 2nd page you will see the course. It really works.

The most important is to put your keyword/keyphrase at the very beginning of the article headline and you are a winner. If you sell 'car discounts' name the headline 'car discounts tips', if you sell 'IQ test', name your article 'IQ Tests Traps' - well, you got the idea.

Unfortunatelly I cannot post here the links to article resources that would be called spamming. But you can find article submitters in Google yourself.

Don't lose time, get targeted traffic

There's a small flaw here though.
What happens when 500 other people also submit articles entitled or focused on 'Free Traffic Course'.
You can't all have top position.

You can't all have top position.
Then you change something in the course and name it 'Free Traffic Guide/Tuturial/Tips/Strategies' and you are on the top again. The most important is that the name starts with necessary keywords, all the rest is limited by your imagination and reasonability.

Of course it will always be possible to get to the top under certain obscure keywords like "Traffic Wibble Underbelly Leader Jelly".

The main point is that it will be very hard to get top under the most popular and most sought after keywords, because so many other people are trying to do the same thing that you are.

I don't think there is an easy way around it.

Good thinking Then one more suggestion from personal experience: you should combine three things:
    (1) Keyword-wise name (we already covered this)
    (2) Catchy name (Free Traffic Secrets of Web Site With PR 7)
    (3) Good article submission engines (they will rush to give as much publicity to your article as possible)

Plus, do not invest into one keyword, you web site has other keywords. When others will try to catch up with you, you will already be cashing out the profits (means can buy more article submissions, pay ghost writers, etc.)

And, this article technology is not so well-spread. You won't believe how many people overlook it.

I would definitely agree in some respects. Many people overlook the core content factor when trying to get a good ranking and quality traffic. I would say it is probably at present my biggest factor in my new projects.
