    hey folks,

thinking a good way to get a lot of traffic to my site would to offer an affiliate program.

paying like 5p per sign up to my newsletter or something similar?

would people take the piss out of this and would this be easy to spot?

my site is - nrbet.com - the home of no risk betting

Im just trying to think of ways to increase traffic, because the ppl that do visit the site, do convert, but i want more ppl visiting lol!

Given you are undoubtedly making ££ from each affiliate transaction you are generating, offering 5p for each subscriber isn't going to get you far. Your affiliates would be better off setting up their own No Risk Betting websites linking to the same people you do.

For this to work (IMO), you would need to pay affiliates for every newsletter subscriber plus offer a profit share on any sales each affiliate generates. Perhaps even tying the two together so that if at a later date your newsletter subscriber registers with xyz betting, the affiliate that generated that lead will be rewarded with a profit share.

    Hi,

you could use a Data Supplier to generate you leads and newsletter sign ups.

Having a sponsored branded question can help generate targeted users, and allow you to permission to market to them and get them using the site (and making you money on your banners/affilates etc).

It works on a cost per lead basis, so you only pay people that are intersted.

If you want to know more about this then drop me a PM and I can help out. :tup

    Cheers

    Oliver
