New Website traffic

Hi!

I am new to this all, I literally picked up a book, learnt xhtml, built a website, and here we are!

I now have my site online but traffic is only between 10-50 uniques a day, not good,

I have looked at meta tags, directorys etc etc, however have you get any TOP TIPS for me to drive more traffic to the site,

I eventually want to dabble in PPC however not untill I can get more traffic,

Better than my first site :tup

Only points I would mention is you need it to fit to the screen size, people don't like scrolling to the right, they only do up and down and a menu is always helpful.

You may want to check if this applies but you use to need a licence to publish English and Scottish football fixtures. Crazy but true.

hmmm, on every browser, laptop, pc I've tried it on it seems to fit fine! oh dear

Also, there is a menu on there, or there was last time I looked lol.

get some good link to your site, on that way your site will be vizited many time by the google...


I can give you some example with my site it's to simple site but google start to like me

and how long has it taken for you to get a good ranking?

I get info and I link my web, not to much just couple...

but you have to find keyword which costumer search for your project... and optimez it
