I have so many people email me about Promotions.co.uk | A Revolutionary Discount Code Website Solution! and the status, well I am currently travelling, so please bare with me as I have not been able to send individual emails to everyone.

Our developers are still working on it, and I will be at a4u on Tuesday and Wednesday and answer any questions and should be able to show people something. I will also be at the affiliate gathering in Birmingham, SMX in London, Travel Rants event and the World Travel Mart, so if you are any of these say hello.

If you have a site with traffic and want to add discount codes/offers but are signed up with no merchants or only limited merchants at the affiliate networks then don't worry. We now have a solution where we fully manage everything for you.

If you have large email databases and wish to have a discount site then contact us and we can run it all for you

It is a great domain as you say but it still only in a very early beta at the moment.
There is hardly any functionality at all.

However its def something I have my eye on and want to get involved in as it develops. Signup and get in early!!

Quick update for you all:

Simple model so far but far from complete as everyday people give us more suggestions.

Codes and getting tracking codes are issues for almost everyone....as networks are not forth coming with codes and/or approval of affiliates to merchants. So 2 problems

CODES ONLY (available now)
We can deliver this to people, contact me and we can give you a simple xml in beta. Ideal for discount code sites who already have deals and tracking.

HYBRID SOLUTION(coming soon)
Option 1. We deliver discount codes and tracking to people via xml/adsense style to put on your sites. This uses your tracking but if you don't have a deal with a merchant/network then we can use our codes and pay you a part of our revenue. This can also be used to replace banners and/or adsense. Ideal for comparators/content type sites.
Option2. You run a cms on our servers and create your own site, again if you have a deal with a merchant/network you use your codes, if not we can use ours if you wish and pay you part of the revenue. Ideal for people who want to create sites with little hassle but have affiliate deals.


FULLY MANAGED SERVICE - BESPOKE (available now)
Option 1. We run site completely for people ie discounts.carrentals.co.uk....you market as you wish. Ideal for large portals.
Option 2. We run site completely for people such as offersinconjunctionwithcarrentals.co.uk .....you market as you wish and it appears as a different brand than you own. Ideal for people with email databases.

hmmm .. have this picture of you stood on the street corner selling discount kebabs..

buyers can have them however they want them.. whatever size and filling with any sauce lol

some nice options there and I'm guessing that's only the half of what your brain has cooked up for it to evolve in to.

The voucher code scene is moving rapidly from an affiliate point of view, with Leeky and Doug working hard, soon those that can't be bothered to even put adsense up will be slapping up discount codes into their sites for fear of losing traffic to those that do.

The merchants offering discounts are going to get far more general exposure than those that don't... surely prompting those that don't offer them to have to seriously consider it ... which is a plus point .. critical mass will kind of force merchants to get involved !

However taking a balanced view I'm sure the commission structure will evolve over time to a "if using discount code then commission reduced by x%"... hopefully not.. but we've already seen 0% - 0.5% on some products creeping in over the last year.
