Has anybody ever used a paid link/article/blog service.
How much can you expect to pay and are they worth it??? Link building is soooooooo tedious (I think you'll agree). is it the norm to pay for this service or are you better off doing it yourself ??
I know ill probably get a few sales pitches in reply to this thread, which are more than welcome, but some impartial advice recommendations and horror stories from people who have actually paid for this service would be great
    cheers

Not good for PR but useful for some targetted anchor text.

Have a mate who does blog and article stuff, simple model you give him the keywords and how many you want for each one. He then gets unique content written for each site that takes an article and/or blog and gets them posted.

He has 1000's of sites and people he has on his list, once finished he gives you the email account he used, the list of sites and the contact details of everyone he has used.

Cost wise he has to get an article written for each site and he also sometimes has to pay people to take the article, but as a ball park it's about £20 per article.

This is not Contentnow, so if any of the guys want a go then PM me.

We offer a link building service, we get a conversion rate of between 1% and 4%. This varies based on a number of factors, i.e. the quality of your site, what package you chose to go for (reciprocal or content-for-links) and the niche you operate in.

To answer your question, yes it is better to do it yourself - as you don't have to pay for the service. But as you rightly say, it is very tedious, which is why we set the business up in the first place.

There are sites like linkvana that give you pr 2-5 blog posts that I have found effective and only require 100 word articles

Hi there. The upshot is that if you know what you're doing and you've got the time and resources then you're probably best doing it yourself or working closely with an agency.

However, if that's not your bag and an SEO agency is too expensive you might have some luck outsourcing the various parts of the link-building process: content writing, syndication, online PR etc etc.

Try a few places out, find someone you're comfortable with. See my links below - happy to advise and not pitch lol.
