    Hi All,
I have recently started working with a company that offers the first ever virtual online shopping mall: The Mall.TV.

TAKE A LOOK AND SEE WHAT YOU THINK. FEEDBACK WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

It seems a great number of companies and people are advertising via directories that have little effect on their business footfall or turnover. The Mall.TV are changing this by directing consumers through a 3D shopping mall experience that will help them find the products they really want. Effectively a google designed for shopping. Companies already advertising include, Addidas, Nike, Ann Summers, Dixons, curries, and many more. Take a look at www. themall.tv
We have already had hits exceeding 100,000 per month which has lead to a great number of sales for companies we already have on board.
Advertising packages are currently available for double shop fronts on the 3D Mall at amazing pricing, some at over 50% discount.

If you would like to know more about this opportunity or you know somone who might, please feel free to PM or contact me.

    Best regards

Great website idea - something I had thought about doing a while ago but didn't do

Would be nice to be able to browse the stores themselves and see products on virtual shelves rather than just linking to home pages.

I didn't have my flash working when I first had a look at it yesterday, I like the look of this site it remindes me of westfield shoping center? have you been?

I think they might be on to somthing good here? think of all the house wife's that like going shopping but don't like the hastle of going?

plus there are only so many shops you can get in westfield? there will be more options and more vairety when more stores are on here?

Oliver I have sent you a PM, I have a few things I would like to talk about?

    Good work!

We are currently working on an Avatar with artificial inteligence that can recognise the registered shopper and guide you round the shopping mall. It will even remember what your shopping trends are to speed up your shopping experience each time you visit the site.

Nice - big thing i don't like is using the front back left right controls, would like to be able to click on a shop that i can see, then walk to it

That is a good point - When we designed the site we chose to place three stores to face at a time by clicking the directional buttons, as it helped with the speed of use. We are making changes on a daily basis to aid usability, including virtual stores you will be able to walk into and look at individual porducts. Your feedbackl is much appreciated, keep in coming.

    Best regards

    Oliver,

Thanks for taking the time to speak with me yesterday, I will be sending you the logos today so we can get started as soon as poss:

I have talk to a few of my contacts that are allready working with you and it all seems to be very well for them. So I am looking forward to get everything up asap!

If I was to want a few more shops being set up in the mall would there be some kind of deal we could do? I would also like to know when you will have the 3D shops set up I liked the one you have done for the Carphone wearhouse...

If you need to get hold of me I will be in a meeting between 11 - 2 but I will get back to you stright away.

Nice idea but personally I not sure what value it brings and took me a while to figure out how to get to shops (I did not read instructions like many wont)

I walked forward, then tried left, it showed me 3 shops (after about a minute wait, nearly gave up) one of the shops was Dabs, expecting to click on the shop window and be taken inside but all I got was a description and an affiliate link to the web site

It's just a pretty interface to a directory IMO, nice looknig but not much more than that unless I am missing something

This is the kind of thing that would be quirky on real life shopping mall sites, such as the McArthur Glen Outlets or places like Bluewater, Lakeside and Meadowhall.

After speaking with Oliver yesterday, he pointed out a few good ponits. I have always adversited on a directory that no one ever used, only becouse apart for google there asn't been much where eles?

I can see the attraction for the mall, I have a father that used to like getting out and about shopping and looking for deals in every shop poss: He dosen't get out much these days, and won't shop online! (Which was a pain for me I had to do his christmas shopping for him aswell).

I think my father will use the mall its something that he is more use to when he use to his self.

I didn't find it hard to use at all... I would more likely use the a 3D mall, instead of a boring flat directory.... Some people shop for bargans and others for the experience with this they get both.

Oliver told me of other things they have in the pipe line... like you can go shopping with a friend, check out which shops will have the best bargans for you, and you will start getting discounts the more you use the mall.

They have only just started this couyld be the next big thing?

    Well done Oliver and gang!

Thanks for your comments - We have produced a number of Virtual stores, which you can walk through and look at products on the shelves. This is obviously an advantage to the consumer as it adds to the shopping experience. The aim is to get the site as popular as possible and then start offering a virtual package for the stores that are on board. Companies that have already joined MY MALL will obviously get a discount.

    Best regards
