tomj, i have just understood your response, somewhat sarcastic... i won't stoop to that level

The reason i have no links on the press releases to my own work or site, is quite simply that I am being paid by clients to promote THEIR website, not mine, and since there are only so many links that can be placed on a press release, it would be very unprofessional to place my own links into the piece instead of the clients.

i am amazed at the level of distrust shown in this thread, somewhat different to all the other forums.What more can be done than to offer a free review copy? to a member of this forum.

I don't mean to seem sceptical. But would suggest that to get people to take you more seriously you might want to come across as the professional that you claim to be - even me using the word claim makes me sound sceptical - apologies.

Sometimes the margins in this business are pretty small - people can work hard for a very small reward and they want to see that what you are offering is the real deal and will bring about results. Not see 30$ of their hard earned cash go down the drain.
