    Hi all,

My first post here in this fab forum

A couple of weeks ago I set up a new site that promotes products that I am an affiliate of. So far it has done very well already making $450 in sales and it only cost me $195 to set up in the first place.

The site currently has 778 products being promoted.

I need some help in making a SEO/promotion stratergy.

Has anyone here go any tips for me?

That is a very good effort for such a young site.

    are you just using datafeeds?

Is this organic traffic? Or are you using PPC to drive traffic?

Most people dont get those results with a new site, unless using PPC.

What you're doing is working.. you must be doing something right. So keep doing it

There are plenty of tips on this forum for promotion and traffic generation methods.

Thanks for your feedback. No, the site does not use datafeeds and all the traffic so far is organic.

So how did you make $450 in sales from a 2 week old site from organic SEO? most people would be struggling to get more than a few pages indexed by that time.

Well heres the thing... I dont really know. I made the site. Done a few bookmarks. A few signature links and I arrived at that. I am now at $480. Really want to get it up to $5000 per month. Been slow the last few days.

If you want to get more targeted organic traffic, you should start building more links to your site. You should also optimize your site pages to rank well for buying keywords.

You are doing great bud. Keep it up.

get some articles together, submit unique versions of them to the article directories (to maximize your 'bangs per buck'). Alternatively run some autoblogs to get backlinks or comment on other people's blogs. You can automate all of that if you try.

I do not use, nor never have used PPC (budget too tight and I have short arms with long pockets )

One of my key sites is now earning in excess of £7200pa and increasing as new startegies are applied in a VERY competitive marketplace.

The key reason I state this is that the above article is bang on the money...articles/content bring in punters (that is the easy bit, converting is another game) and they cost a whole lot less than PPC.
