Question When to remove promotional links and switch to next occaision?

Wanted to ask affiliates and merchants when they think it is best to remove links for a particular seasonal promotion e.g. Valentine's Day or Mother's Day.

For instance, should Valentine's Day links be removed on 8, 10, 12, 14 or even 16 February? Are there many late purchasers? Or after say, the 10th of Feb, do people start buying pressies that have to be posted offline?

For what it's worth, our highest number of sales for Xmas were in the last week of November up until about 12 December (for DVDs). Started going down drastically after that.

  Seasonal

I basically keep the same seasonal links up for affiliates so they only have to add to their site once. I update the images each month, etc. with new seasonal banners and for example I changed the Valentine's Banner on the 14th for the Easter Banner.

If that helps at all.

Would be interested if any affiliates have any preferences to state, so we know what is best for you?
