New Adwords Account - 2nd Time Lucky?

Hi all,

Long-time reader, first time poster.

For my first ever campaign my CTR was so low for so long that my QS is extremely poor, I'm considering setting up a new Adwords account.

Does anyone have any advice here? I'm concerned about getting penalised by google, as whilst I wouldn't be bidding with 2 accounts at the same time I am concerned that adwords will link the IP addresses and the bank account if I don't use a different one etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't think a new account would solve your issue. You need to work out what you've been doing to get such poor QS and correct it. I'm afraid if you don't do this you'll just end up with a second account with exactly the same issues.

However, if you must go with the new account idea for any reason I believe you can request your existing account to be closed. Can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to start a new one after that.

If it's because you have a voucher then I'd only use it on another site tbh, but nothing stopping you doing it.
If it's because someone told you your existing account is tainted by a bad campaign, it aint. Delete the existing campaign, look at why, and try to understand, it performed badly and then try again.
