Has anyone had a good experience with using Google's CPA bid instead of the usual CPC?

I would be interested to know if it has worked for you and how it compares?

I played with it a bit on one of my client campaigns. I found it drove very little traffic. Generally performed well for the little it drove though. Might work better in other niches though - this was lingerie. But the cpc campaigns did brilliantly on that account...
